Lefty’s Creative Lab L.L.C. is a family owned and operated business. As a child, I talked about owning and operating a business, “Fathom Enterprises”. Fathom having a couple of meanings, one is a unit of measurement and the second is to think. When I went to start my business, Fathom was taken. Flash forward to my daughter at 6 years old, tells me she is gonna start a business and retire me on a boat.

What’s or Who is Lefty? Lefty was a nickname given to me in college by my roommate, he didn’t like lefthanded people, thought we were strange, started referring to me as Lefty Mike as there was 3 Michael’s in the dorms, it stuck, and for the last 25 years I have been known by most of my good friends as Lefty MacGyver.

So in 2025, my children, Adeline and Andrew, and I decided to start a business together, and Lefty’s Creative Lab L.L.C. was born. They provide the insight on what’s “sus”, “67”, or “slappin”. We added 2 Commercial Quality 3D Printers, 2 Laser Engravers, A Hat Press, and a Heat Press to the Lab, so we are uniquely prepared to help your next idea come to life. Little do they know I am teaching them about Business and how to run one. When we are not creating in the Lab, we like to explore the National Parks on epic Road Trips..

A Little more about me:

Michael “Lefty” Trask is a computer guy with over 30 years experience working with various Software Platforms. Working with these platforms has led to a collection of tools that allows me to create just about anything. This passion for watching ideas come to life is what got Lefty’s Creative Lab LLC started in 2025. We are excited to work with you on your ideas and live vicariously as they come to life.
